* 15 carat gold was only a legal standard of gold in jewellery crafted in England between 1854 and 1931 and was not permitted for hallmarking purposes in England until 1854. It has a strong and rich golden colour while 14k has a paler yellow colour with a very slight greenish tinge. This carat was generally used in very high quality jewelry pieces.
The condition is very good with negligible wear commensurate with age.
